Jerrod was born and raised in International Falls, Minnesota. He currently resides in International Falls with his wife, Beth, and their two children.

Outside the office, his many interests revolve around family and his love for the outdoors. Jerrod was a fishing guide on Rainy Lake, bordering Minnesota and Ontario, for ten years.
